Nigerian Miss World, Agbani Darego, Gets Married.

Agbani Asenite Darego has gotten married. The model who accomplished the amazing feat of being the first African to win the bequeathed Miss World pageant got hooked on Saturday, April 8, 2017. Although there were whispers of her upcoming wedding, the model remained mute on the issue. She eventually told the world when she shared a dazzling picture of herself and her husband at their wedding. The snap shows the couple decked to the teeth in their wedding attire. She captioned it simply, "08.04.2017".

Before winning Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria, Darego starred in print commercials for boutique chain: Collectables, following her trial at Miss Universe, She was called upon by Naomi Campbell to take part in Frock 'n' Roll - a charity fashion show in Barcelona and soon struck a modelling deal with Donald Trump's management to start links with modelling organizations in America.

After her regime as Miss World, she was represented by the London and Paris branches of Next Model Management and got a three-year deal with L'Oréal, becoming the second Black model to clinch such feat after Vanessa Williams, and was photographed by Annie Leibovitz for Vogue. Other brands she has featured in are Avon, Christian Dior, Sephora, Target, and Macy’s.

Darego has also Featured in Elle, Marie Claire, Allure, Trace, Stitch, Cosmopolitan, and Essence magazines, with numerous designers including Oscar de la Renta, Marc Bouwer, Tommy Hillfiger, Ralph Lauren, and Gianfranco Ferre.

In Nigeria, Darego has appeared in advertising campaigns for hair care brand Gentle Touch with model Oluchi, and is currently the face of Arik Air. She has also been on the covers of Complete Fashion, Mania, ThisDay Style, Genevieve, True Love, and TW Magazine.

Today marks popular comedian and singer, Julius Agwu's birthday. Given birth to in April 7, 1973, Julius Agwu is known as a stand up comedian, musician and actor who was born to Chief Augustine Amadi Agwu and Mrs Mary Agwu.
